Hello, everyone!

That wasn’t a very pirate-y greeting, now was it?  Well, today’s blog post is a little different from what you are used to.  As much as we love masking our identities behind the strange and diverse set of characters found throughout the Caribbean, today we decided to post as… ourselves!  Insane, right?

This post is special because it is the introduction to our new “On the Horizon” series, which will begin to appear more frequently on the blog.  In this new series, you will learn more about what our team is working on behind the scenes.  There is so much to talk about, including translating TLOPO, new in-game music, a brand new Achievements System, Isla Escondida, and much more!  You’re sure to love what we have in store, so keep an eye on the blog for more updates!

Anyhow, now that you understand what “On the Horizon” is all about, we can get into the topic of this particular article, which is… the storyline!  The Legend of Pirates Online has decided to solidify its storyline by mapping out the future of our game.  This new storyline “roadmap” will determine the direction of development and how the story will progress in-game.  It’s a pretty big deal!

Needless to say, our team is ecstatic to hammer out the details of our new storyline… but before we make any big decisions, we’ve decided to consult the most important part of our team… YOU!  The TLOPO community is riddled with creativity, especially when it comes to creating new content.  We see your suggestions on the forums, social media, and even in-game!  In order to make our storyline the best it can be, we’re calling on you to share all of your ideas in this thread.  Ideas may include new characters, new islands, new plot points, new… anything!  This is a clean slate, and it's our job to fill it with a great story.  So, tell us how you would like to see TLOPO’s story play out!

Oh!  Keep in mind that any suggestions made in the forums thread may be used at some point in-game.  Thanks for your suggestions, and keep them coming!
