The Legend of Pirates Online (TLOPO) is an ongoing fan-made recreation of Disney's now-closed MMO, Pirates of the Caribbean Online (POTCO).
About the Game
Originally released in October 2007, Pirates of the Caribbean Online was a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) created by the Disney Interactive Media Group.
Pirates Online shut down on September 19th, 2013. Shortly after the game's closure, the game's community began work on their own recreation of the game. After a decade of volunteer work, we have fully recreated the original game and have begun work on adding our own new content.

Features
- Added a new legendary, Jack Sparrow's Revenge (JSR), to the Black Pearl Boss Battle!
- This was released in a prior server reboot, but is being documented in today's release notes.
- JSR and Jack Sparrow's Spyglass are in their own separate loot pools. Receiving one of these in loot does not mean you missed out on getting the other.
- Added 2 new famed Black Licorice swords!
- The Black Licorice Sabre drops from land French Undead Enemies.
- The Black Licorice Broadsword drops from land Spanish Undead Enemies.
Bugfixes
- Fixed a bug where the Black Pearl's sails would sometimes not be visible during the final Goliath cutscene.
- Fixed lighting in the Tortuga Secret Shop.
- Fixed various bugs with the new Daily Quests.
- There's still a few more bugs we have to get to! We're extremely busy this week, please don't hurt us. :(
Maintenance
- Clarified Skeletal Scourge flavor text.
- Bane family of weapons now have their proper black blades.
- Black Pearl will now end immediately after everyone collects their loot.
- Various misc optimizations.
