In honor of 10 years since Pirates Online Rewritten merged with The Legend of Pirates Online on April 29, 2015, we're bringing the spooky season early this year. Hollowed Woods will be open for 10 days starting April 27th at 6PM ET through May 7th at 6PM ET!
This limited-time celebration marks one of the most beloved and chilling places ever added to the Caribbean — Hollowed Woods was the very first original area created by the TLOPO team!

HW Quest Part 1 — A Haunting in Hollowed Woods
Speak to Anne Goldsilver on Port Royal, near the Jail & Graveyard Entrance!
It’s a mystery how Anne and Richard Silveredge lost their memories... Richard knows he has lost something. Help him recover it — and uncover the truth behind A Haunting in Hollowed Woods.
Complete this quest to earn a Skeletal Striped Bandana, gold, and Double Reputation for 6 hours! (Duration pauses if you log off — type /x2 in chat to check your active bonus.)
HW Quest Part 2 — Storms in Hollowed Woods
Find Richard Silveredge near Port Royal’s Jail.
Myrna needs your help to keep the vile Captain Zephyr Windshadow trapped inside the Town Hall. He’s the one stirring up all this chaos — and angering the Watcher. Gather essences and prepare a powerful spell to stop him before he breaks loose!
Complete this quest to loot the legendary Storm Sphere from Windshadow and receive Captain Windshadow’s Outfit!
HW Quest Part 3 — Crystals in Hollowed Woods
Visit Jumbee Jim near the entrance to Crystal Caverns, past Myrna and May’s Gypsy Wagon.
A dazed Jumbee has appeared near the once-blocked mine. Strange forces are at work again... is it the Watcher? Captain Windshadow? Or perhaps Jolly Roger himself?
Investigate the growing disturbance and discover the truth within the Crystal Caverns!
Complete this quest to loot the legendary Staff of the Hollowed Gem from Jumbees — or purchase it for bones from April May at the Gypsy Wagon.
Hollowed Woods Event Rewards
Note: You do NOT need to complete any quests to loot Soul's Shadow, Dark Whisper, or The Soulweaver from The Watcher in The Watcher's Hovel or Devil’s Claw from Dry Rot in Hollowed Woods!
Loot Small Bones, Large Bones, and Haunted Bones from Undead, Jumbees, and Davy Jones' Crew, and trade them for unique clothing, tattoos, and weapons at Hollowed Woods on Port Royal.
Jonathan Fairbanks at the Decrepit Shop offers spooky outfits. Myrna and May at the Gypsy Wagon trade in legendary weapons. Adam Goodprice at Goodprice Tattoos has festive, frightful ink to mark the occasion. With all this fetchin’ garb to collect, what are ye waitin’ fer? Hollowed Woods be yer oyster!
