Event Celebrations
The Hollowed Woods anniversary celebration has returned! The event will be open this year from August 31st at 6PM to November 30th at 11:59PM ET.
In addition to Hollowed Woods, there will be a Double Loot and Double Reputation event from September 19th at 12PM to September 22nd at 11:59PM ET. We also have something special planned for the Pirates Online Anniversary & Talk Like a Pirate Day on September 19th. Stay tuned to find out more!
As previously mentioned in last year's blog post, we have shifted our priority away from developing new Hollowed Woods content and instead are focusing on developing different storylines, features, and other game content; such as a Cannon Defense overhaul that is now live on our Test Server!
The Muertos Moon strikes twice this Hollowed Woods season! Beware Friday 13th! Jolly Roger's Curse shall also return to the Caribbean from October 27th at 12PM to October 31st at 11:59PM ET.
Holiday Quests Overview
Note: You can do any of these quests out of order but it is recommended that you do the quests in the order below if this is your first time or if you want the best experience.
HW Quest Part 1 - A Haunting in Hollowed Woods
Speak to Anne Goldsilver on Port Royal, near the Port Royal Jail & Entrance to Port Royal's Graveyard! It's a mystery how both Anne Goldsilver and Richard Silveredge lost their memories! The only hint is that Richard knows he has lost something! Help him to recover it and perhaps you can also help recover the pair's memories in the process of unraveling A Haunting in Hollowed Woods!
Complete this quest and receive a Skeletal Striped Bandana, gold, & Double Reputation for 6 hours (Duration pauses if you log off, so don’t AFK!) . To check the time remaining on your x2 Reputation Award, type /x2 into your chat window and press the Enter key.
HW Quest Part 2 - Storms in Hollowed Woods
Visit to Richard Silveredge on Port Royal, near the Port Royal Jail & Entrance to Port Royal's Graveyard! Myrna needs your help to keep the vile Captain Zephyr Windshadow trapped inside the Hollowed Woods Town Hall. He is the cause of all this chaos in the town. He is the one that angered the Watcher. Gather essences for Myrna and prepare a spell to stop the wicked Jumbee master from escaping!
Complete this quest in order to loot the legendary Storm Sphere from Captain Windshadow himself & receive Captain Windshadow’s Outfit!
HW Quest Part 3 - Crystals in Hollowed Woods
Find Jumbee Jim at the Door to Crystal Caverns up the hill past Myrna and May's Gypsy Wagon. You came across a dazed Jumbee acting erratically near the entrance to the Hollowed Woods mines. That doorway used to be blocked off before. Something is afoot, but what? Is the Watcher acting up again? Is this another dastardly plan enacted by Captain Windshadow? Or is Jolly Roger meddling again? You must investigate - with the help of Hollowed Woods' steadfast gypsies, of course.>
Complete this quest in order to loot the legendary Staff of the Hollowed Gem from Jumbees in Crystal Caverns or purchase it for bones from April May in Myrna and May's Gypsy Wagon.
Hollowed Woods Event Rewards
Note: You do not need to do any quests in order to loot Soul's Shadow, Dark Whisper, or The Soulweaver from The Watcher in The Watcher's Hovel!
Note: You do not need to do any quests in order to loot Devil's Claw from Dry Rot in Hollowed Woods.
Loot Small Bones, Large Bones & Haunted Bones from Undead, Jumbees & Davy Jones' Crew. Exchange bones in the Hollowed Woods on Port Royal for special items like clothing, tattoos, and weapons.
If ye be fancying a special outfit, be sure to go and visit Jonathan Fairbanks in the Decrepit Shop for his spooky wares.
If instead you wish to arm yourself with the most coveted weapons money, or rather bones, can buy - visit Myrna and May's Gypsy Wagon.
