On the second day of Celebration, the Brethren Court gave to me… Expanded Original Island Lobbies!
 

Ahoy, Pirates!

Original Island Lobbies have returned to the Caribbean, and what’s more, they return bearing gifts! Not only are the Lobby areas of Old Port Royal, Tortuga, and Padres del Fuego accessible in all of their former glory, but also the original 2008 Interiors and Caves - including that of Old Isla Tormenta and Devil’s Anvil too!

Feature: Original Island Caves and Interiors

Do ye ever reminisce about the days of old in 2008? Running through Port Royal and popping in and out of different shops? Or landing on Padres and running through Beckett’s Quarry to loot Neban the Silent or General Darkhart? Those days may be long since past, but the locations are back!

The Original Island Lobbies now have their interiors and caves. Every tavern, shop, and cave has been reinstated exactly as they were in the original Pirates Online. We’ve even spiced up some previous places that never saw the light of day in POTCO! Did ye notice our signpost in the back of the Original Fort Charles next to the big door? That door was never opened in POTCO, but through a little tinkering, we were able to break-in and spice up the place a little bit. We’ve even reimplemented the old lighting system that made the Caribbean feel a bit moodier in the early days of Pirates Online.

Feature: Original Isla Tormenta and Devil’s Anvil

Original Isla Tormenta and Devil’s Anvil are once again accessible for the first time in over a decade! Including enemies and informative signposts, these areas are exactly as they were in the early days of the Caribbean. Whether ye be a sightseer exploring the wonders of early POTCO or a seasoned pirate reminiscing of yer younger days of plunderin’, these lobbies truly be a thing to see!

In Conclusion

Thank ye for yer patience while we worked through some of the bugs with the Original Island lobbies! Who knew having an instanced location within another instanced location would’ve been such trouble to get implemented into the game!

We really hope ye are just as happy and excited as we are to finally get to rest yer eyes on these very special locations that had once contributed so much to the charm of the original Pirates Online.
