It's the most spookiest time of the year again, and dark magic is in the air! Any old salt of a sailor knows that ol' Jolly's powers strengthen this time of year, and he will unleash a dreadful curse upon the islands! 

Jolly's Curse of Muertos Moon has returned once more! Any pirate caught on land or outdoors who is struck by the cursed moonlight shall transform into one of Jolly's undead minions and shall be commanded to turn on their own and battle one another. 

This means PVP (Pirate vs. Pirate)! The undead only have one life. Defeat them in order to free them from Jolly's spell! 

But, be warned, if the undead defeat you, you will be knocked out, and if you have no mates to revive you, you will be sent to jail! Once the Muertos Moon is over, those who are left undead will transform back to their old selves again, free from Jolly's curse! 

If you seek refuge from the Muertos Moon curse, get aboard yer ship or stay indoors before the Curse strikes. The undead cannot enter! Stay alert, caverns open to their beaches may invite the undead to venture inside! Be on yer guard if you're lootin' in any caverns or jungles!
