It's been a decade since that fateful day when Pirates of the Caribbean Online announced its closure, leaving us all with memories of our swashbuckling adventures. But fear not, for the spirit of piracy lives on!
Through the dedication of passionate fans, we've rebuilt the game from the ground up, allowing pirates old and new to relive the thrill of adventure in the Caribbean. Would ye believe it? The Legend of Pirates Online has been charting its course for longer than the original game graced our screens!
However, the Crew felt it was necessary to establish a place where concept art, development documents, and other media could be preserved in one easily accessible place. The team is excited to unveil the Pirates Online Preservation Project, a community-driven initiative to preserve memories of POTCO and TLOPO for generations to come!
Our team has worked tirelessly to recover artifacts from the original game, including game documents and concept art presumed to be lost media! In the Preservation Project ye will be able to find artifacts that were utilized in the earliest days of POTCO, as well as TLOPO.
Mates, ye best keep a weathered eye out too! The Crew will be continually adding new artifacts each day to the Preservation Project!
The Pirates Online Preservation Project isn’t all we have been working on, of course. Our team has continually squashed bugs in recent updates, and we remain hard at work building the next story chapter.
