Ahoy, mates!

I've been workin' on upgradin' me ship lately.  Aye, I recently sunk me beautiful War Brig.  Did such a number on her that I was left with nothin' but splinters.  I had to buy an entirely new ship!

I sunk her while I was sailin' from Port Royal to Tortuga.  As I was nearin' Tortuga, I ran into some fool's ship.  Keep in mind that this was all their fault.  The accident definitely had nothin' to do with me zonin' out at the wheel.  No, not at all.  I also was definitely sober at the time.

Anyway, I got me a ride to Tortuga and got meself a ship called the Red Queen.  While a simple-minded fool might give a ship with such a name red sails, I took an artistic path and gave her yellow sails!  Mark me words, this will catch on and become a trend.

I had forgotten how painful it was to obtain ship materials for upgrades.  I worked the entire week to get me hands on some Iron, but it felt like I was makin' no progress.

I eventually complained to the right person - I mean, I spoke with one of me many contacts.  They decided to give me an early holiday gift.
