Originally released in October of 2007, Pirates of the Caribbean Online was a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) created by the Disney Interactive Media Group.
Pirates of the Caribbean Online was shut down on September 19th, 2013. This website was created to preserve the game's history.
Included in this archive is concept art, design documents, promotional material, and more from the original Pirates of the Caribbean Online as well as from The Legend of Pirates Online, the game's community-made remake.

Shortly after the game's closure in September of 2013, a group of
dedicated players from the original game's community
began work on recreating Pirates of the Caribbean Online. After a
decade of volunteer effort, the game has been fully
recreated and is available today as The Legend of Pirates Online. Preserved
by the community, for the community. All content
within the game is provided completely for free.

The Pirates Online Preservation Project is an educational archive provided by The Legend of Pirates Online (TLOPO) to preserve the history of Pirates of the Caribbean Online.
TLOPO is a free fan-made revival of Pirates Online, created using publicly available downloads and information made freely available to the general public. Both the Pirates Online Preservation Project and TLOPO are not associated with The Walt Disney Company and/or Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media (or the affiliates of either party).
